First CD in the Bo Linde series released on the label Swedish Society.








This is the first of four CDs with music by the swedish composer Bo Linde.

His violin concerto and cello concerto appear on this CD. Read more about 
the recording of the violin concerto with the young violinist Karen Gomyo 
from Boston, USA below. There You can view pictures from the session at 
Gavle Concert Hall in 2004.

Gavle Symphony Orchestra record the second CD with music by the 
swedish composer Bo Linde.

In 2002 Gavle Symphony Orchestra started off recording music by Bo
Linde. Most of his music for orchestra was performed the first time by 
the GSO. To honor Linde´s memoy and the 70-th anniversary, the violin 
concerto, the cello concerto and a selection of orchestral music is being 
recorded by the swedish classical label Proprius. 


The second session took place in the Gävle concert hall in march 2003. 
Petter Sundkvist was conducting the orchestra. This time the violin con-
certo was one of the two pieces to be recorded. The solo part was per-
formed by Karen Gomyo from the USA.

In 2003 The Band of the Royal Swedish foot Guards will be recording a 
new CD. The band - founded in 1526 - was revived in 1998 and is keeping 
the swedish wind tradition from the past centuries alive. On their first CD
a lot of the music written to be performed by the band at historic events
is presented. Conductor: Stefan Solyom.

The Uppsala Chamber Solists make a new CD.

In december 2002 The Uppsala Chamber Solists  start recording their
latest CD, produced by Patrik Hakansson, mediaproduktion. The en-
semble and its leader, the violinist Nils-Erik Sparf, has made numerous 
recordings in the past years. This time the music is by Antonin Dvorak, 
including the Quintet op97 and the sextet op48.



  
The Violinist Fredrik Burstedt appear on new CD from PALETTE

In 2003 the we start producing the PALCD-986. 


The soloist is the violinist Fredrik Burstedt - consert master of the Helsing-
borg symphony orchestra - performing the music by three contemporary 
composers from Sweden:


Per Martensson, Mats Larsson-Gothe and Joakim Sandgren. All music is
released on CD for the first time and the project is financially supported by
the national arts council.

Music by the american composer Libby Larsen on new CD.    

In 2002, a CD with music by the much appreciated american com-
poser Libby Larsen was recorded by Patrik Hakansson for the label
FP Music. The recording session took place in studio three at the 
swedish broadcasting cooperation in Stockholm. The composer 
was participating as co-producer at the set.
